Free Family Portraits for Marian House and ESM Clients
This Friday, December 3rd, Marian House and ESM clients can receive a free family portrait, thanks to Help-Portrait, a group of photographers coming together across the world to use their photography skills to give back to their local ommunities.
Help-Portrait, along with Catholic Charities, First Presbyterian Church Weber Street Center, Ecumenical Social Ministries (ESM), and Walgreens, will host a day of photography where clients of Marian House and ESM can have their individual or family portraits made, at no cost to the client.
On December 3rd, four local photographers will donate their time to take pictures of clients of Catholic Charities and ESM as a gift. Walgreens will develop the pictures at a reduced cost for same day delivery.
Although the national day of photography is December 4th, this local event will be held in Colorado Springs on December 3rd for scheduling purposes.
Pictures will be taken from 9am to 5pm at the First Presbyterian Weber Street Center, located at 105 N. Weber Street.
Individuals can get their portraits taken on a walk-in basis from 9am to 12:30 pm.
Families must sign up for an appointment. Family appointments are scheduled from 1pm to 4:30pm and sign up sheets are located at the Marian House in the Family Dining Room and in Life Support Services.
