Thank you to everyone who responded to the call for help for Sativa Hoag’s 3-year old daughter who was bitten by a dog. Sativa had just moved her family to Colorado Springs for better work opportunities, and was living with friends. She had turned her back for just a minute, and that’s when the little girl was bitten. Once the dog attacked the little girl, they needed to move to another place.

Catholic Charities was able to put the little girl and her family up in a motel, but did not have the funds to support the family until the mother received her first paycheck in a month. Thanks to a story by News Channel 13, a generous donor called, and is putting the family up in a spare bedroom in her home.
