Family & Friends of Nathan Keliher attended a Memorial Service held at the Marian House Soup Kitchen on August 28.

On August 21, Nathan Keliher, a 26 year old man, was found dead in a homeless camp in Colorado Springs. Nathan was a frequent guest of the Marian House Soup Kitchen for the past year, and was a resident of a local homeless camp.

Jason Christensen, President & CEO of Catholic Charities said, “No one should have to die homeless, all alone, in a public park. Whatever the circumstances, this was someone’s son, brother, grandson and friend.”

On August 28, a Memorial Service was held at the Marian House to celebrate Nathan’s life. Deacon Pat Bidon presided over the service, attended by Nathan’s camp mates and guests of the soup kitchen.

Nathan was returned to his family in Washington and was buried on September 1st.
