Catholic Charities of Central Colorado was named a “Best Of  The Springs Winner” by The Gazette for the St. Patrick’s Day Gala Silent Auction!  “We are thrilled to be named in the “Best Of The Springs” edition by The Gazette.  I don’t think we have been recognized before,” said Rochelle Schlortt, Director of Communications.  “We have tried very hard over the years to make our silent auction one of the best in town, and we have all of our generous donors to thank for this honor.  The trick to developing a good silent auction is to group like items together to create an interesting package that our guests want to bid on.  Every year, the auction has grown and is quite large with a huge variety of items to choose.  The auction offers something for everyone.”

Each year, the St. Patrick’s Day Gala silent auction brings in about $18,000 for the programs of Catholic Charities.  That, combined with the Live Paddle and Super Silent auctions, make the St. Patrick’s Day Gala auctions quite a successful venture.  If you have not had the opportunity to come to the St. Patrick’s Day Gala, we invite you to attend.  Next years event is scheduled for March 17.
