On Saturday, October 16, 2010, Macy’s will host the 5th annual Shop for a Cause to benefit charities nationwide.  Since 2006, Shop for a Cause has raised more than $34 million for regional and local charities across the country.  This year, Catholic Charities is participating in the event.

We benefit by selling $5 tickets to the event.  Ticket holders receive 20% (or 10%) savings on almost all of their purchases; including regular, sale, and clearance merchandise, (exclusions and restrictions apply.  See savings pass for details), and 25% off a single purchase.  Customers are also eligible to win a $500 gift card, no purchase necessary.

Catholic Charities has 200 tickets to sell, for $5 each.  We keep all the proceeds of each ticket, so if we sell all 200 tickets, we earn $1,000.  For just $5, you receive at least a 20% savings on purchases made on October 16, AND, help Catholic Charities earn money for our programs.  To purchase tickets, stop by our offices, or send a check for $5 with a self-addressed stamped envelope to at 228 North Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.  Tickets will be available on Tuesday, September 7th.
